Kevin Street (Jul 99 – Jun 00)

Anthony Charles (Jul 00 – Oct 01)
Defender Charles was next to wear the number in his second season as an Alex player but left the club without making a first-team appearance following a loan spell with Hyde United. He would also play for Hayes, Aldershot Town in 3 spells, Farnborough Town, Barnet, Northampton Town, Plymouth Argyle, Luton Town, Nuneaton Town, Worcester City, Halesowen Town, Stratford Town, Walton & Hersham and Rugby Town before retiring in 2017.
Chris McCready (Jul 02 – Jun 06)
We also looked at McCready’s career in the number 14 column, he wore this number for the last 4 seasons of his first spell at the club.
Nicky Maynard (Jul 06 – Jun 07)

Luke Murphy (Jul 09 – Jun 10)

AJ Leitch-Smith (Jul 10 – Jun 11)

Ben Garratt (Jul 11 – Jun 12)
We looked at Garratt’s career in the number 1 column, he wore this number while he was a second-year scholar.
Brendon Daniels (Jul 12 – Jun 13)
Daniels was next to wear the number 18 in his second season with the first-team squad, making 10 appearances for the first-team, before joining Chester in 2014 following a year out of the game. He would also play for Tamworth, Harrogate Town, AFC Fylde, Alfreton Town, Port Vale and Altrincham before joining current club AFC Telford United, initially on loan, in November 2018 before making the move permanent a couple of months later.
Liam Nolan (Jul 13 – Jun 15)
Nolan wore the number for the 2 seasons he had as a first-team player as he made 29 appearances for the senior side before joining Southport in the summer of 2015. After spells at Accrington Stanley and a loan move to Salford City, he would join current club Halifax Town last summer.
Billy Bingham (Jul 15 – Jun 17)
Bingham joined the Alex in the summer of 2015 from Dagenham & Redbridge and would make 55 appearances for the club before joining Gillingham in 2017. He joined current club Bromley last summer.
Harry Pickering (Jul 17 – Jun 18)
We looked at Pickering’s career in the number 3 column, he wore this number in his second season with the first-team squad.
Regan Griffiths (Jul 18 – present)
Midfielder Griffiths has yet to represent the first-team but has spent time on loan last season at Kidsgrove Athletic and has been earmarked for future first-team opportunities by David Artell.
