The club will take checks on three trialists next week, including former Coventry City left back Ryan Lynch. Lynch was released from Coventry this summer after failing to break through from their reserve side. The 20 year old could be signed as back up to Billy Jones in the left back spot if his trial is successful.

Also on trial will be TNS central defender Greg Stones. Crewe made their interest in Stones know a one or two ago, after which Stones asked to be released from TNS in order to persue the interest. Wrexham are also said to be interested in Stone.

The third and final trialist is a unnamed Bulgarian midfielder who was recommended by a fan exiled in Bulgaria.
