Tomorrow evening sees Crewe Alexandra travelling for the first of two away games this week as we head to Stevenage with winger David Amoo moving to the Alex in January set to play against his previous club.

They sit in 3rd place in the league after wins against Tranmere Rovers, Stockport County, Rochdale, Carlisle United, us, Newport County, Harrogate Town, Crawley Town twice, Sutton United, Swindon Town, Doncaster Rovers, Hartlepool United, Barrow, Gillingham, Leyton Orient, AFC Wimbledon and Walsall, have drawn against Walsall, Gillingham, Grimsby Town, Mansfield Town, Leyton Orient, Harrogate and Newport while they have lost against Salford City, Bradford City twice, Northampton Town, Stockport, Tranmere and Rochdale.

They have beaten both Reading and Peterborough United in the Carabao Cup before losing a third-round tie against Charlton Athletic on penalties while they reached the 4th Round of the FA Cup, beating Gateshead, King’s Lynn Town and Aston Villa before losing to Stoke City. They topped their EFL Trophy group after wins against Peterborough United, Wycombe Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur’s Under-21s before beating Arsenal’s youngsters in Round 2 and then losing to Portsmouth in the 3rd Round.

Since the last meeting, they have signed goalkeepers Adam Przybek and loanees Jokull Andresson and Jon McCracken, defenders Jonathan Tomkinson and Josh Reid have joined. Midfielders Jake Forster-Caskey and loanees Alex Gilbey and Daryl Horgan have also arrived while forward Josh March completes the signings.

They have allowed goalkeeper Aaron Chapman, midfielder Arthur Read and forward Amoo while a few players have left the club on loan deals.
