BBC Online are now reporting that Crewe chairman John Bowler has stated that Dario Gradi will remain as manager despite the previous announcement that he was to become the clubs ‘football technical director.’
This now creates a confusing situation, as the club have already declared that Steve Holland will have a ‘pivotal role in training, team selection and management of the first team squad.’
If that doesn’t sound like the job of ‘manager’ I don’t know what it is.
Hopefully someone will clear this up…eventually.
