Loan Report – September 4th 2023

In this column, we look at how the Crewe Alexandra players are doing for their loan clubs this week – Regan Griffiths and Billy Sass-Davies are added to the list this week after the club announced on Friday that they have joined Boreham Wood on loan until the end of January.

Connor Evans – Chester

Connor was an unused sub in their 2-0 home win against Farsley Celtic last Monday before playing the first 71 mins in their 1-1 draw at Spennymoor Town on Saturday, he has made 2 appearances as the club sit in 15th place in the National League North.

Regan Griffiths & Billy Sass-Davies – Boreham Wood

Regan played the full game and was booked while Billy played the final 45 mins in their 1-0 home defeat against Barnet, both players making their debuts as the club sit in 19th place in the National League.

Zak Kempster-Down – Bamber Bridge

Zak played the full game in their 3-0 home win against Workington last Monday before playing the first 55 mins in their 4-0 home defeat against Mossley in the FA Cup on Saturday, he has made 2 league appearances (3 apps in all competitions) as the club sit in 10th place in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Dave Richards – St. Johnstone

Dave was an unused substitute in their 2-2 home draw against Dundee on Saturday, he has yet to make his debut for the club as the club sit in 12th place in the Scottish Premiership.

Max Woodcock – Runcorn Linnets

Max played the full game and scored in their 4-2 home win against Witton Albion last Monday before playing the full game in their 2-2 draw at Charnock Richard in the FA Cup on Saturday, he has made 2 league appearances, scored 1 goal (3 apps, 1 goal in all competitions) as the club sit in 14th place in the Northern Premier League West Division.
