Foxes Sign McAuley

Leicester have completed the signing of Gareth McAuley on a three-year deal. The 26-year old has rejected Crewe twice in the past 6 months – initially rejecting a £150k move to Gresty Road, before rejecting Dario’s advances once again in May.

Gradi’s second approach for the Northern Ireland international was more out of hope than expectation. Crewe have since followed up their interest in other targets, having confirmed the signing of Julien Baudet, and are also closing in on other targets.
