In this column, we look at how the Alex Academy Graduates have done in this weekend and during yesterday’s games in league action.

Championship:

Billy Jones played the full game for Rotherham United in their 2-2 home draw with Sheffield Wednesday.

Luke Murphy played the full game for Bolton Wanderers in their 4-0 home defeat against Norwich City.

League 1:

Friday’s action saw Liam Nolan was an unused substitute for Accrington Stanley in their 2-2 draw at Sunderland.

Gareth Evans came on for the final 15 minutes in their 3-3 draw at Southend United.

Kelvin Mellor was an unused substitute in Bradford City’s 0-0 home draw with his former club Plymouth Argyle.

Oliver Turton played the full game for Blackpool in their 0-0 draw at Charlton Athletic whilst Max Clayton was not involved for the visitors.

Junior Brown was not involved for Coventry City in their 3-0 home win against Walsall.

Ryan Colclough was not involved for Scunthorpe United in their 1-0 defeat at Gillingham.

George Cooper played the first hour in Peterborough United’s 1-0 win at Oxford United.

Tuesday:

Liam Nolan was not involved for Accrington in their 4-2 win at home to Oxford.

Gareth Evans played the first 66 minutes for Portsmouth in their 1-1 home draw with Bristol Rovers.

Both Matt Tootle and David Vaughan were unused substitutes in Notts County’s 1-0 win at home to Mansfield Town.

Nicky Maynard played 74 minutes and scored the only goal in Bury’s 1-0 victory at Exeter City whilst Byron Moore played the full game for the visitors.

Billy Waters came on for the final 34 minutes for Cheltenham Town in their 1-0 defeat at Grimsby. Harry Davis came on for the final 6 minutes for the hosts whilst Chris Clements was an unused substitute for the visitors.

Michael O’Connor came on for the final 23 minutes in Lincoln City’s 2-2 draw at home to Stevenage while Will Appleyard was not involved for the visitors.

Ben Garratt, Perry Ng, George Ray (goal), Harry Pickering (67 mins), Callum Ainley (53 mins), Ryan Wintle and Charlie Kirk (82 mins) all started for Crewe Alexandra in their 1-1 draw at Oldham Athletic. Tom Lowery (37 mins) and Shaun Miller (15 mins) were both used substitutes while Owen Dale and Ollie Finney were unused substitutes.

Ritchie Sutton played the full game for Morecambe in their 1-0 win at Port Vale while AJ Leitch-Smith was not involved for the visitors against his former club.

Andy Bond was an unused substitute for AFC Fylde in their 1-0 home defeat against Chesterfield on Saturday.

Mark Carrington played the full game, with Jason Oswell (70 mins, booked) and Chris Holroyd (20 mins), all for Wrexham in their 3-2 win at Havant on Saturday.

Tuesday:

Wrexham won 2-0 at Boreham Wood with Carrington playing the full game, Oswell playing the first 71 minutes and Holroyd coming on for the final 12 minutes.

Bond played the full game and getting booked in their 6-2 home win against Havant & Waterlooville.
