Crewe Alexandra have announced this afternoon that they have extended the contract of defender Eddie Nolan until 2021.
Nolan, 30, signed for the club from Blackpool in the summer of 2017 and has made 70 appearances for the club, scoring twice for the first team against former club Blackburn Rovers last season and recently against Colchester United.
Last season’s Player of the Season as voted by both teammates and supporters has represented the Republic of Ireland 3 times, all of which were in 2009.

How good is the renewal of Nolan for the club?
Absolutely great news that one of our best defenders has extended his deal and is now contracted with Perry Ng and Harry Pickering for the next two years at least. As well as being one of the best defenders, he is also one of the calming influences in the squad and uses his experience to help the younger players out with their games.
