Vaughan – From Sociedad To Blackpool?

Former Alex winger David Vaughan is reportedly the subject of a £500,000 bid from Blackpool.

Vaughan left the Alex for Real Sociedad last summer in a £300,000 deal. His future was left in doubt however when manager Chris Coleman left the Spanish 2nd Division side. Earlier this summer Socidad put him up for sale. The 24 year old managed half the season as the Basque team narrowly missed out on promotion back to La Liga last season.

Vaughan played over 150 games for Crewe in his 5 years in the first team after coming through the club’s academy system. It’s unlikely the left-winger would snub a move back to England, especially a move back to the Championship.
