The more impressive of this pre-season’s trialists Hamdi Razak has finished his trial at the club, failing to earn himself a contract.

The former Swindon Town striker scored twice in last week’s 7-0 win at Newcastle Town, impressing fans in attendance. Gudjon had since commented that the club could still be interested in the Frenchman and all signs were that he was to get another game in this Thursday’s friendly against Wigan.

However, today it has come out that Razak’s trial at the club has finished and he has since joined up with Yeovil Town for another trial spell. Whilst it by no means ends our interest in Razak for certain, it’s unlikely any contract offer would be made after his departure.

It now looks as though defender Nathan Koo-Boothe, cousin of Joel Grant, is the sole remaining trialist at the club.
