Crewe face Tranmere on the back of two heavy defeats in what is a must win game if survival is to remain realistic.
Tranmere travel to south cheshire looking to extend their winning run to 3 games, however crewe will be looking to halt their run without a win to the same number of games.

Team News – Crewe

Loan keeper John Ruddy will make his alex debut after sealing a one month loan move from Everton on thursday. Luke Murphy is back fit for the alex and fellow midfielder Micheal O’Connor, who was dropped at Peterborough for showing poor dicepline to officals at Northampton. Captain Julian baudet is back after a one game ban but he looks likely to lose out to Dennis Lawrence and loanee Marlon Broomes in the heart of the defence.

Team News – Tranmere

Tranmere are without strike trio Chris Greenacre, Craig curran and Terry Gornwell. Rovers main injury worry however is captain Antony Kay, who has a back injury, however he will undergo a late fitness test tomorrow afternoon.

Players to look out for

All alex fans will be looking for a performance from John Ruddy, making his alex debut in goal for the alex against rovers aswell as Marlon Broomes who will also be making his home debut as he looks to tighten it up at the back for Crewe. For Tranmere it will be star man Chris Shuker, who has already scored decisive goals against Crewe twice this season to cast an eye on.
