Crewe Alexandra midfielder Brad Inman said he always wanted to remain for the rest of the season after extending his loan spell from Newcastle United.

“It is good to have it all signed up and I can concentrate on playing” – Brad Inman

The 21-year-old Scotland Under-21 international has proved a real hit since arriving at Gresty Road with four goals in his ten games to date.

“I spoke with my agent and in my mind I wanted to stay until the end of the season, so I was really happy when the gaffer told me that he wanted me to stay,” he told Crewe’s official website. “It is just good to have it all signed up now and I can concentrate on playing.”

Inman could be rewarded with a Wembley appearance should the Alex defeat Coventry City over two-legs in their Northern Area final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, having already been on target against Bradford City in their semi-final victory.
