Ticket Sales Up On Last Year

It’s been suggested that season ticket sales are some 300 up on last year’s amount.

Yesterday the club issued a statement dismissing reports in a local newspaper that the club had only sold 600 season tickets, although no official number was published.

Today has shed a bit more light on the issue, with many fans being told by the ticket office that nearly 2,500 tickets have been sold so far – which is up by around 300 on this time last year.

If this figure is the true amount then credit must go to the club for the increasing sales despite no price drop and our two star players leaving this summer.

2,500 tickets by the beginning of July. That seems good to me. I think we (Stockport) have around this figure right now too.
