Crewe host high-flying Swansea without a win in four league games. Swansea, meanwhile, lie 5th in the league, though have won just once in their last four league games. Swansea will be keen to win so as not to fall out of the play-off positions, whilst Crewe will be looking to get back into the top half of the table with a win.

Crewe Team News:

Crewe have a host of injury doubts following Saturday’s draw at Leyton Orient. Ben Rix picked up a calf strain at Brisbane Road, whilst Gary Roberts, Michael O’Connor and Nicky Maynard are also doubts. Rodney Jack’s return from injury may soften the blow slightly, though if unfit to play, Maynard’s place would be more likely to go to Luke Rodgers or Lee Matthews. However, Ryan Lowe and Lee Bell remain out injured, whilst Tony Grant is also a doubt.

Player to watch: Luke Varney

Despite failing to find the net in the last three games, Varney remains the club’s top goalscorer and assistsman.

Swansea Team News:

Swansea will have midfielder Andy Robinson available again after suspension, with Tom Butler likely to make way. Tom Williams has returned from injury, though Shaun MacDonald, Owain Tudur Jones, Garry Monk and Darren Way are all out injured.

Player to watch: Lee Trundle
