Striker Lauri Dalla Valle is desperate to be fit for the weekend clash with leaders Bristol City at Gresty Road.

“My aim is to get goals and hopefully by doing that we’ll pick up points” – Lauri Dalla Valle

The 23-year-old recently signed a permanent eighteen-month contract with the club but then missed out on a ‘second debut’ due to a slight ankle injury picked up in training.

He previously netted five times in ten games for the Railwaymen whilst on loan from Fulham a couple of years ago.

“It was a shame I picked up an ankle injury but hopefully I’ll be fit,” Dalla Valle told the Crewe Chronicle. “The league table doesn’t look good at the moment but we have hope and we believe, and that’s important.

“Bristol are a good side but the bigger the challenge, the better it is,” he added. “My aim is to get goals and hopefully by doing that we’ll pick up points.”
