Lundstram Joins Solihull On Loan

|

Crewe Alexandra have confirmed that midfielder Josh Lundstram has joined National League side Solihull Moors on a 28-day loan spell that is set to expire on 14th January. The Moors currently sit in 6th place in the fifth tier of English football.

Lundstram, 22, has made 22 appearances for the club since coming through the Academy set-up at the Alexandra Stadium following loan spells with Sandbach United, Newcastle Town, Kidsgrove Athletic (twice), Nuneaton Borough and Altrincham.

He could make his debut in this afternoon’s trip to AFC Fylde in the FA Trophy 3rd Round and will wear the number 28 shirt during his spell with the Moors.

What are Solihull getting from Lundstram?

Josh is a versatile player who can play as a box-to-box midfielder (so will probably play as one of the 2 deeper midfielders in Neal Ardley’s 4-2-3-1 formation) as well as a defensive midfielder or right-back (even filling in at centre-back for the Alex under-age groups) and he’s someone who looks to run ahead of the ball when in a central midfield 3.
