McCready joins growing injury list

Centre Half Chris McCready is to have an x-ray to ascertain the extent of the injury that he picked up in the 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers.

McCready who rejoined the club after a year at Tranmere sustained a leg injury shortly before half time and was replaced by Danny O’Donnell.

He joins Nicky Maynard, Byron Moore and Eugen Bopp on the treatment table as the injury list grows. Several players are also suffering from illness, Danny O’Donnell and Steve Schumacher have been advised to stay away from the training as a precaution until they have recovered fully.
