Ryan Lowe is named Vital Crewe Man Of The Match for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy 1st round tie.
Lowe returned to his former club in the hope of inflicting defeat, but his first half goal wasn’t to be enogh. A Richie Partridge equaliser in the second half took the game to penalties, which Crewe lost.
After looking the best player on the pitch, and the only man likely to get a goal, Lowe stormed away with the Vital Crewe MOTM award with 36% of the vote.
