Loan defender Dennis Lawrence has been called up to the Trinidad and Tobago squad. Trinidad are set to face El Savador on February 11th in a World Cup 2010 qualifier.
The towering defender will fly out to El Salvador on Sunday meaning he will miss the vital home game to Bristol Rovers on Tuesday evening and possibly the away trip to relegation strugglers Leyton Orient the following Saturday.
Also in the squad is former Alex keeper Clayton Ince whilst Lawrence’s parent club Swansea have been granted permission for Jason Scotland to excused from the match so he’s available for Swansea’s FA Cup tie.
Lawrence’s call up comes as a blow to Gudjon who may just have settled on his back four after an impressive defensive display on Saturday against Tranmere. The replacements in Danny O’Donnell or Julien Baudet don’t leave you with much confidence.

Oh no, time for O’Donnell and his next trick to get the ball into his own net.
