Steve Holland was pleased with what he called a professional performance from his team as they held a lacklustre Forest side to a 0-0.

The first team coach wasn’t to bothered not to have taken three points, more looking at the positives as he see the team’s second 0-0 in a row.

Holland told crewealex.net: ‘We were very disciplined, very professional, solid and it was a reliable performance. We kept them down to very few chances. I think when Junior Agogo hit the shot around the hour mark and Ben Williams saved it, it was arguably their first attempt on goal so that side of the game was very pleasing.

‘It was just getting that balance as the game headed towards the end. How much you go for it. We need to win games and get points obviously, but as I say though and can only repeat, it could be a priceless point and looking at the results today that would perhaps reflect that.’

Holland now prepares his side for a massive couple of games. Firstly Port Vale at home and then a trip to Gillingham. Six points could see the Alex start to pull away from the relegation spots, whilst two defeats could spell relegation.
