Former Crewe striker Tom Pope has been handed a 6 month jail sentence, suspended for 18 months after being charged with affray. He was also handed a 12 month supervision order and to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and to pay £722 worth of prosecution charges.

The video showed him and two other men lead the attack. The footage also showed Pope even stand on a car to aid his attack.
Pope, who signed for Rotherham earlier this summer had been charged with affray, after an incident in a Hanley nightclub earlier this year.
