Crewe striker Anthony Elding says he is hoping to secure a pernament move to Lincoln come the summer.
Elding, who signed for Crewe for £160,000 lat summer from Leeds United says he hopes the two clubs can agree so he can secure a move to the League Two side. Speaking to the sentinel, Elding said
‘My last game for Lincoln will be emotional as I’ve come back home and I’ve loved every minute of it,’ ‘It’s just a shame I cannot stay until the end of the season, especially because the play-offs are in sight. But I definitely want to come back and, hopefully, the clubs can come to some arrangement.’ He added.
‘I’ve got two years left on my Crewe contract, but I’ve heard rumours they are willing to sell and that £75,000 would be enough.’
The forward, from nearby Boston, admits it’d be great to move back home.
‘That would be a decent deal because I know, given a full pre-season behind me and the fact I will be back home, I will score goals.’
Only time will tell but it seems Eldings heart is set on a move away from Crewe. It also looks more unlikely he will feature for the club again in the quest to advoid relegation after theese recent comments.
