Crewe will make changes for the Johnstone Paints Tropy tie at local rivals Chester City on Tuesday night at the Deva Stadium.
Midfielder Ben Rix will replace club captain Neil Cox whilst Stuart Tomlinson will get a chance to impress in goals as Ben Williams is rested.
Player of the month for August Gary Roberts is doubtful with a tight hamstring and may not be risked. Lee Barnard will also take no part in the game at Chester.

think so but it’s laughable anyway, think 3 teams got fines last season…they can’t define it but we are sure to make changes.
