Crewe winger Colin Daniel is set to leave for a loan spell at League Two side Macclesfield Town.
The former Eastwood man will spend the rest of the season at the League Two club as they edge towards safety for another season in 19th spot.
Daniel’s departure is slightly surprising considering the relatively successful season he’s had. He’s made sixteen appearances for the team this season, with 15 coming following Steve Holland’s departure in November.
His last appearance though came three weeks ago in the 2-1 home win over Hereford, and with his contract up in the summer and Gudjon looking to cut squad numbers a few questions have to be raised over his future at the club.
