Crewe Alexandra have been drawn at home to Swindon Town in the 1st Round of this season’s FA Cup.
The two clubs have met 42 times in their history (16 Alex wins, 20 Swindon wins and 6 draws) but have never met in any cup competition. Swindon were knocked out in Round 1 last season, at home to Darlington, while the Alex would knock out Bolton Wanderers in Round 1 before going out at Cheltenham Town in the following round.
The tie will take place across the weekend of the 6th November with a replay being played on 16th/17th November.
