On the 28th of February at 19:30 in the lounge under the Main Stand (South Stand) of the Alexandra Stadium at Gresty Road, Crewe Alexandra Football Club Company Ltd will be holding its next Annual General Meeting.
Crewe Alexandra Supporters’ initiative (Crewe ASi) would strongly encourage anyone who has any feelings for the football club at all and is concerned about the way that the club is heading to come along to the meeting and voice their concerns.
We want the board to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the people of this town do give a damn about their club. It’s more than just a football club. It’s a life support system, not just for its supporters (both active and passive) but for the businesses that serve those supporters on a matchday too.
We need you to persuade those at the helm to explain to us in plain terms:
– What the corporate restructuring of 2006 is really intended to achieve; – Why the life-blood appears to be oozing from every pore of the Alexandra Stadium at an alarming rate. – What the ‘new direction’ is that they have planned for the club; – What is being done to build on the glimmer of an up-turn that we’ve seen over the last few weeks; and
