Church could play

On loan Reading centre forward Simon Church may yet feature in the League One clash against Northampton on Saturday at the Alexandra Stadium.

The youngster is set to meet up with the Wales U21’s but may not be in line to start for Wales and therefore Technical Director Dario Gradi is seeking permision from Brian Flynn to release the youngster from his squad.

Meanwhile, the club have confirmed Nicky Maynard will not feature this weekend. As reported by Crewe Vital last week he is targeting the match at Nottingham Forest for his return.
