Ex-loanee striker Chris Dickson has found a new loan club just a week after returning to Charlton Athletic. Dickson has now joined League One rivals Gillingham on a month’s loan.
The 22 year old joined Crewe in the middle of August on a month’s loan, with a view of an extension, but after two starts and a sub appearance Dickson failed to make any impact up front and returned to Charlton last week.
Gillingham chairman Paul Scally told the Gillingham Official Site: “Dickson has super pace and is a bright young player. He will enjoy a good future in the game so it’s a great swoop for the team and our super fans.”
Dickson now looks set to make his debut for Gillingham on Saturday at Nottingham Forest.

Sorry to say I’d be lying if I said I hope we don’t face him!
He was rubbish when he played against us (Orient) lad couldn’t stay on-side
no think he will take time, lot to learn. big step up. needs a season or two. perhaps gills style may suit him more.
Hopefully we (Gills) will get to see Dickson do well in his Loan Spell.
