Burnley End Jonah Deal

Burnley manager Owen Coyle has decided against letting Steve Jones return to Crewe on a one month loan deal. Burnley had already allowed Steve Holland permission to talk to the Irish striker whilst they decided whether a loan move would be beneficial.

However, after playing the an impressive final 10 minutes for Burnley against Coventry at the weekend, Coyle has decided against the move.

Coyle told the Burnley Express: ‘He has been in the 16 for every squad since I arrived, and I thought he played well on Saturday when he came on, and was unlucky not to score. He is part of my plans until deemed otherwise.’
