Adam Legzdins is a possible target for League Two rivals Burton Albion after Brewers manager Paul Peschisolido confirms he is interested in the keeper.

Lego left the club this month after turning down a new contract at Gresty Road.

He spent the majority of last season on the bench, continually over looked in favour of loan keepers despite looking capable enough when he got the chance between the sticks. With loan keeper Steve Phillips now set to make his move permanent, Legzdins decided to look elsewhere for first team football.

Not really in doubt he would find another league club, it’s no surprise that Burton Albion have confirmed their interest in Lego. Manager Paul Peschisolido says he is interested in the 22 year old but is yet to make any firm offer.

“Nothing is by any means signed and sealed as far as a new keeper is concerned.

“We`re speaking to various players and their agents, and I can confirm that we have shown an interest in Adam Legzdins, but that`s as far as it`s gone at the moment.”
