In this column, we look at how the Alex Academy Graduates have done this weekend with all games taking place yesterday unless stated. Those with * in the tables have a player out on loan that fits the AA criteria.

Premier League:

Ashley Westwood played the full game and was booked for Burnley in their 2-2 draw at Aston Villa

Cheyenne Dunkley played the full game and was booked for Wigan Athletic in their 2-0 defeat at Fulham.

Nick Powell played the first 68 mins for Stoke City in their 3-2 home defeat against Nottingham Forest.

League 1:

On Friday night, Oliver Turton played the full game and was booked for Blackpool in their 2-1 home win against Lincoln City while Michael O’Connor was an unused sub for the visitors.

Onto yesterday’s action, Billy Jones played the first 63 mins for Rotherham United in their 1-0 defeat at Bristol Rovers.

George Ray was not involved for Tranmere Rovers in their 4-1 defeat at Ipswich Town.

Gareth Evans came on for the final 28 mins for Portsmouth in their 1-0 home win against Bolton Wanderers with Luke Murphy playing the final 23 mins for the visitors.

League 2:

Perry Ng (sent off, 70th min), Harry Pickering, James Jones (booked), Ryan Wintle, Tom Lowery  and Charlie Kirk (72 mins) all started for Crewe Alexandra in their 1-1 draw at Cheltenham Town. Owen Dale (32 mins) was a used sub while Callum Ainley, Ollie Finney and Josh Lundstram were all unused subs, all for the visitors, with Chris Clements coming on for the final 12 minutes for the hosts.

Harry Davis came on for the final 23 minutes in Grimsby Town’s 3-1 win at Exeter City.

Dan Trickett-Smith was not involved for Port Vale in their 3-3 draw at Leyton Orient.

Both Antoni Sarcevic (booked) and George Cooper (66 mins) both started for Plymouth Argyle in their 1-0 win at Mansfield Town. Nicky Maynard came on for the final 9 mins for the hosts while Byron Moore was not involved for the visitors.

Both Shaun Miller and AJ Leitch-Smith played the full game for Morecambe in their 2-2 draw at home to Northampton Town. Ritchie Sutton was not involved for the hosts while Billy Waters was not involved for the visitors.
