Following last nights JPT defeat to Tranmere, Calvin Zola has spoke of his disappointment. Crewe dominated the first half with Tom Pope hitting the post early on. However, after the break it was the home side that dominated and Chris Shukers deflected strike 4 minutes from time was the decisive goal.
Speaking to the club`s official site Zola said ” We do feel a bit cheated because I didn`t think we deserved to concede such a late goal.

” We knew Tranmere as the home side would have a spell, but overall I thought it was a good performance frfrom our lads and we are all very disappointed to have lost.
‘There are a lot of positives to take from the game because we all worked hard as a team and played a lot better than we did at Home on Saturday, where none of us played to our ability.’

Crewe will be looking to carry the good perfomance through as they travel to Scunthorpe on saturday
