2 goals from winger Keane Lewis-Potter gave Hull City a point in the U23 Professional Development League against Crewe Alexandra after the young Railwaymen had taken the lead twice at Reaseheath this afternoon through Regan Griffiths and Oliver Finney.

Manager Alex Morris named Dave Richards in goal with a back 4 of Travis Johnson, Luke Offord, Josh Lundstram and Rio Adebisi in front of him. In midfield, Finney played from the right with Tom Lowery, Joe Lynch and Griffiths completing the midfield while Owen Dale and Malachi Linton played up front.

The opening goal of the game was scored by the hosts on 5 minutes with Griffiths turning in from close range following a penalty area scramble while the visitors levelled 8 minutes after the break with the goal coming on the break with Lewis-Potter cutting in from the left and finishing across Richards.

The Alex would take the lead again 3 minutes later with Finney finishing at the near post following a nice move while the young Tigers would level in the final minute with Lewis-Potter heading home a Billy Chadwick left-wing cross.

The next game for Morris’ men is against Barnsley next Monday afternoon.
