Danny Woodards has signed for MK Dons on a free this morning.
The former Exeter right back completed the switch after turning down a new contract offer at Gresty Road this summer. Woody had already admitted that he was looking to move back down South and didn’t want to drop into League Two.
He’s signed a two year deal with MK, who finished third in League One last season, losing out in the play-off semi finals to eventual winners Scunthorpe.
fter joining from Exeter in January 2007 for a nominal feee Woody went on to make 94 appearances, playing an important role at right back. His steady performances impressed the Alex faithful but his lack of commitment saw him dropped last season in favour of the ever impressive John Brayford.
