Two late goals from FC United of Manchester saw them take the win at the Cumberland Arena yesterday afternoon against the Crewe Alexandra Women, despite Megan Booth’s two first-half goals.

Booth would open the scoring for the hosts on 34 minutes before the visitors would level 2 minutes later with Booth getting both her’s and the Alex’s second a minute before the break. FC United would level the score with 10 minutes to play before their winner came 4 minutes from time.

The first-team are back in action next Sunday afternoon with a trip to Merseyrail Ladies next Sunday (game taking place at Admiral Park with a kick-off time of 2:00 pm).

It was better news for the Reserve Squad this weekend with a 1-0 home win against Bedworth Ladies Development side with midfielder Katie Greenwood getting the only goal of the game.
