Crewe will welcome either Woking or Ebbsfleet United in the FA Cup first round. The two sides drew their qualifying match on Saturday 2-2 and will replay on Tuesday night at Ebbsfleet Stonebridge Road.

Both clubs sit in the bottom half of the Conference National division having endured a pretty inconsistent start to the season.

Ebbsfleet, formerly Gravesend, were last season subject to a controversial take over by a bunch of Football Manager fanatics “MyFootballClub”. The 30,000 strong armchair supporters club now have a say in everything from the manufacturer of the shirts to transfers in and out.

Whoever wins on Tuesday night will be coming to Gresty Road as underdogs but we’re well aware of the possibilities having been knocked out by Telford just a couple of years ago. The first round is to be played the weekend of November 8th/9th.
