Crewe Alexandra forward Byron Moore can be a really top player according to his team-mate Harry Davis.

“He showed his class especially with that second goal” – Harry Davis

The 24-year-old finally opened his account for the season with a midweek brace as the Alex defeated fellow League One newcomers Swindon Town 2-1 at Gresty Road.

And those were his first goals since scoring in the play-off final victory against Cheltenham Town at Wembley back in May. He had since gone twelve games without finding the back of the net after scoring ten times last season.

“I am really pleased for Bryon to get off the mark for the season,” Davis told Crewe’s official website. “Bryon has got all the ability to be a real top player and I am delighted that he could get his first goals of the season. He showed his class especially with that second goal.”
