Rowe Becomes Sixth Summer Signing

|

Crewe Alexandra have announced that winger Aaron Rowe has joined the club on loan for the rest of the season from Championship club Huddersfield Town, becoming the sixth signing of the summer.

Rowe, 22, came through the Leyton Orient youth system before joining current club Huddersfield Town in the winter of 2018 before making his debut in the Premier League the following year. He has spent time on loan at Boston United and Bromley before joining fellow League 2 club Stockport County in January.

Aaron will wear the number 21 shirt during his spell in South Cheshire.

What will he offer?

He is a pacy winger who can also play full-back according to his Wikipedia page, although having only made 33 appearances in his career to date at the age of 22 is a bit of a concern – it seems that injury problems are the cause of this (not sure that we need the cover on the treatment table rather than the pitch!) but it would be good if he can put those behind him and contribute well to our season.
