Crewe look set to pick up the Bobby Moore Fair Play Award for a twelfth time in 15 years.

The Railwaymen have finished the season with the least fouls, least yellow cards and second least red cards (Only Rotherham had no red cards) in the entire Football League. Whilst the Alex finished with just 26 yellow cards, our challengers Colchester had 56. Crewe also committed just 370 fouls, some 60 less than Doncaster Rovers.

It should add up to us being the ‘fairest’ team in England, even after the Premier League teams have been added. Which is great, unless you’re a fan who is frustrated at the lack of ‘manliness’ in our play.

Still, at least Dario will be happy.
