David Vaughan will join Real Sociedad on Monday after agreeing a three year contract with the Spanish club.
The Welsh winger will complete his £300,000 move to the Spanish Second Division side on Sunday when he is set to have a medical.
Crewe accepted the offer from Chris Coleman’s club on Friday morning, with Vaughan flying out to Spain that day.
Chris Coleman, manager of Sociedad, says that terms have been agreed and it’s just a matter of a medical.
He told Skysports.com: ‘We have finalised a deal for Vaughan with the club and we will speak to the player tomorrow to sort out one small detail, and then he should pass his medical and begin training with his team-mates this Monday.’
Vital Crewe wishes Vaughan all the best at his new club.
