Harry Pickering Signs New Three-Year Deal

|

Crewe Alexandra have announced that defender Harry Pickering has signed a new 3-year deal with his previous deal set to expire at the end of this season.

Pickering, 21, has spent his whole career with the club, making his debut against Leyton Orient in April 2017 and has made over 100 appearances for the club (his next league appearance will be his 100th in just league games), scoring 6 goals in the process including home and away against Salford City.

What does this extension mean for Crewe Alexandra?

It’s great that the club have tied down one of the best players at the club to a long-term deal with manager David Artell making sure that players aren’t going into the final few months of their deals and risking leaving for a fee set by a tribunal.

Pickering is another player that can play in multiple roles if needed as he came through the Academy playing all across the midfield.
