Crewe Alexandra would suffer a heavy defeat in their final home game against Coventry City at Reaseheath this afternoon in the Under-23s Professional Development League.

Manager Ryan Dicker named Tom Booth in goal behind a back 4 of Sam Bhatti, Lewis Billington, Sean Lawton and Lucas Sant. In midfield were Owen Lunt and Charlie Finney while Ty Webster, Matus Holicek and Max Woodcock played behind Ben Wood. On the bench were Zak Kempster-Down, Joel Tabiner, Jack Nolan, Senior and goalkeeper Jack Flint.

The opening goal of the game came in the 10th minute before they doubled the lead 4 minutes after the break. They would add their third 5 minutes from time with Will Bapaga getting it before Ricardo Dinanga scored their final goal with a minute to play.

The final game at this level sees a trip to Cardiff City next Tuesday, kicking off at 1:00 pm.
