First-half goals from Remi Walker and Morgan Dance saw Birmingham City defeat Crewe Alexandra at Reaseheath in the Under-21 Professional Development League this afternoon.

The hosts had the first effort of the game in the 11th minute with Trialist B having an effort deflected wide before Billington would head a Webster free-kick straight at keeper Brad Mayo. The visitors took the lead in the 34th minute as Walker scored from outside the area before they doubled the lead seconds before the break as Dance would convert from inside the 6-yard box.
