The BBC reports that two bids for Nicky Maynard have been rejected by the club this week. They claim that bother Ipswich Town and Bristol City have had offers for the 21 year old rejected as the chase for the club’s top scorer hots up.
Earlier this week Sky Sports reported that Ipswich had made an offer of over £1million, this was later denied by the Tractorboys who said they had only made an initial enquiry for Maynard.
The likes of Stoke, Middlesbrough, Hull City and Fulham have also been linked with a move but as yet no approach has been made official.
It is thought that a valuation of £2million plus add-ons has been slapped on Maynard with the Alex refusing to budge.

its good to see that crewe havent excepted the first offer that has came our way, we need to hold out for as much money as we can, which then might allow us to replace him with some more decent cash signings but then again this is crewe alex
Over priced for an untested player.
Quite a few clubs interested so you do right to hold out for the best price.
We would be happy to take Maynard for a reasonable price…..
