Tootle Signs New Contract

Defender Matt Tootle has followed Ashley Westwood and signed a new deal with the club until 2013.

Tootle, who made 28 appearances last season has been rewarded for his steady season at left back. He scored his only goal against Rochdale on Boxing day and is now widely expected to switch to his natural right back position for next season as Crewe search for a new left back.
