Tootle Back In Training

Matt Tootle has overcome a virus and has returned to training today, with hopes he can make the side for the visit of Chesterfield on Saturday.

Toots has missed the last couple of games after being struck down by the virus last week. It’s seen Pat Ada deputise at right back with Adam Dugdale coming in to do a pretty decent job at centre back.

It’s now up to Dario to decide if Tootle will walk straight back into the side. Although Duggy and Ada have done fairly well in the previous two games, you cannot say much for the opposition in Macclesfield and Burton. Chesterfield, being league leaders and all, will no doubt provide a little more of a challenge.

I think with Tootle quite easily being our best and most consistent performing defender this season he should, if fit and ready, be in the line up on Saturday.
