Febian Brandy has tipped his Crewe Alexandra team-mate George Cooper to go far in the game.

“Being here at Crewe will make him into an even better player” – Febian Brandy

The highly-rated teenager scored the winner as the Railwaymen earned only their second league win of the season at the expense of Coventry City at the weekend.

“If he can stay grounded he’ll go far,” Brandy told BBC Radio Stoke. “I’m happy for the lad. He works hard and he’s a talented player.

“Being here at Crewe will make him into an even better player,” he added. “He’s only a young boy already fit to play in a man’s game.”

Fellow goalscorer Brandy, 25, is currently on loan at Gresty Road from Rotherham United.
