Time for a change..

Following a poor performance on Tuesday night against Accrington and another unacceptable showing this afternoon it is clear change is needed in the club.

What needs a change though? Certainly the goalkeeper. Rhys Taylor started the season in fine form and many were pleased to see him sign on at Crewe to the end of the season. In the last few months though, Taylor`s form has deteriorated and the goalkeeper`s confidence seems to be at an all time low. Surely now Dario must look towards our own Steve Phillips?

The midfield also needs a change around. Ashley Westwood has been in appalling form this season and Luke Murphy (although he didn`t play today) has looked off colour as of late. A loan signing needs to come in to play alongside Lee Bell. Bell may make mistakes but he does a lot of good and is a passionate leader, something needed among young players.

The defence have been good at times although they suffer from individual mistakes, something Dario readily admits. Dario apparently tried to sign a defender this week, but the deal fell through because of injury. Dario must continue to search for recruits to bolster the side before we have survival to play for!

Finally is there need for change at the top? Dario has been a loyal servant at the club nobody could argue this. Has Dario stayed too long though? If he continues will he ruin the work he has done and the legend status he has created? Time will only tell.
