With season tickets once again selling well, Crewe Alexandra are currently on target to reach manager Steve Davis’ total of a 5,000 average home attendance this season.

“We are on target to hit Steve Davis’s aim of a 5,000 average home attendance” – Rob Wilson

The Alex have already sold in excess of 2,300 season tickets and they are continuing to move regularly ahead of this Friday’s deadline for a cheaper deal.

The visits of the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Coventry City, Sheffield United and fiercest rivals Port Vale to Gresty Road are certainly going to help in pushing that overall figure higher.

“We’re absolutely delighted to have sold over 2,300 season tickets already,” spokesperson Rob Wilson told the Crewe Chronicle. “We are on target to surpass last season’s sales and hit Steve Davis’s aim of a 5,000 average home attendance.”
