Crewe’s chances of signing Gareth Taylor appear to have been boosted by the news that Oldham have sacked Ronnie Moore after just 15 months in charge. Moore was interested in both Gareth Taylor and Eddie Johnson, with the Latics believed to have offered Taylor a 2-year deal.
However, Oldham have now sacked Ronnie Moore due to poor season ticket sales, with John Sheridan replacing Moore as manager. Should Sheridan decide against pursuing Moore’s interest in Taylor and Johnson, it appears likely that the duo will sign their deals with Crewe.

Good luck to you if you get them. You appear to be going for a lot of players at the moment. Are you running out of academy players?
